My First Day in Dublin

"If you know where you're going, the right road will take you there." — Cat's advice in *Alice in Wonderland*

I like this quote because it reflects my desire for new experiences that allow me to follow my heart and express my individuality.

I believe the most interesting and valuable way to travel is to follow my heart and embrace my destiny, discovering new perspectives that others may overlook. I have high expectations for this trip because Ireland is a country rich in history, which is something I always seek in the places I visit.

Dublin Airport

The first thing that caught my attention was the airport. I found the structure and design to be very contemporary and organized, making it easy for travelers to navigate their way to buses, taxis, rental cars, or the people picking them up. As an architect, I appreciate how thoughtfully the spaces were designed for efficiency and clarity.

On this trip, I have the opportunity to travel with 17 people: 15 classmates and 2 professors. To be honest, I have never traveled with people I didn't know before; my only previous experience was traveling with my boss's daughter. I look forward to using this experience to feel comfortable with new people and enjoy the opportunities this trip offers.

I’d also like to mention the food. I'm excited to try the new dishes that Ireland has to offer. At a welcome dinner, I had traditional Irish beef stew, which is similar to a dish from my home country, El Salvador. It was delicious, and I loved it! After dinner, I enjoyed a homemade brownie that was equally delightful. I felt grateful for the chance to relax and enjoy the food, drinks, and conversations with everyone, as my classmates were kind and friendly. I hope this trip exceeds all my expectations every single day.
