Pristine Seas: Bringing the Ocean Back is a traveling photography and multimedia exhibition developed by National Geographic that focuses on global marine conservation through science, storytelling, and visual impact. As the exhibition designer, I was responsible for translating a complex curatorial and scientific framework into a clear spatial narrative within a 2,400 square foot gallery.
My tasks included developing detailed floor plans, coordinating the placement of large-scale photographs, text panels, and media components, and ensuring that everything adhered to National Geographic’s exhibition standards, materials, and accessibility requirements. I worked closely with curators and preparators to organize over 400 linear feet of content, balancing engaging visual storytelling with visitor circulation, sightlines, and interpretive clarity.
